Before making a booking enquiry please read the Booking Conditions, Park Rules, Play Safe & Swim Safe. You will be required to accept the Terms & Conditions outlined below as part of the booking process.

 
 
Bookings Conditions:-

All bookings enquiries will be via email only using the link at the bottom of the page. Following confirmation of availability and price you will be required to pay a non refundable deposit of £125 per holiday week to secure your chosen holiday week/s. Full payment must be made 12 weeks prior to your arrival date. If full payment is not received by this date we reserve the right to cancel your holiday and offer the date/s to another customer. Booking cancellation conditions will then apply. If for any reason you need to alter the dates of your holiday subject to the alternative date being available we reserve the right to charge any additional costs if the selected week is of a higher rate. Any additional charges must be paid at the time the change is requested. If your requested change cannot be accommodated then you have the right to cancel the holiday subject to the cancellation conditions and charges as outlined below.

Damage: You are advised to take out your own holiday insurance that will cover any damage / breakages. A deposit of £100 will be required for each holiday period to cover any damage, breakages or additional cleaning. The contact person who books the holiday has a responsibility to let the owner know at the earliest opportunity if any damage / breakage occurs. Breakages which are part of a set will be charged at the replacement cost for the set. Cleaning of the mobile home is included at the end of your stay, however you are expected to leave the mobile home clean & presentable. Upon inspection of the mobile home by our cleaner at the end of your holiday any damage, breakages or additional cleaning (beyond the standard amount of time) will be deducted from the damage deposit and the remaining amount refunded to you by Cheque / paypal. A full refund of £100 by cheque / paypal will be given for no damage, breakages or additional cleaning. (applies to any booking after May 2006)

On receipt of full payment you will receive a confirmation email which will include your "Visitors Authorisation". Please ensure that you take your copy with you as this is your confirmation of access to the park. On your first arrival and final departure from the park you must report to the owners office and provide proof of identity if requested. You may be asked to read the park rules and sign to say that you agree to abide by them. On completion of all necessary paperwork the keys will be handed to you once the staff have verified your identity. They will then direct you to the mobile home.

Park facilities and services provided by Siblu may be effected by events beyond Siblu's or the owners of the mobile home's control (Force Majeure). In any circumstances such as temporary or permanent closure of a facility, interruption in mains services, withdrawal of services, particularly when such measures are taken by Siblu to ensure the safety of Park users. Force majeure events include natural catastrophes, extreme weather conditions. Interventions by local or national authorities, under the present contract, have the same consequences as the cases of force majeure referred to hereinabove.

 

The owners of the mobile home may offer alternative accommodation up to 7 days prior to your arrival date. If events occur beyond the control of the owners of the mobile home/s (Force Majeure) this notice period may be withdrawn. Where possible alternative accommodation will be as near as possible to that advertised or will be of an equivalent standard and able to sleep the same number of persons. The layout of the mobile home may differ and the 3rd bedroom may consist of bunk beds. Alternative accommodation style / type is subject to availability.

 

All prices shown are for accommodation only and exclude Flights, Ferry / Tunnel Crossing, Tolls, activities requiring additional charge & Siblu fun passes. Fun passes are required to access the pools, waterslide, kids clubs and other on site leisure activities. Fun passes can be bought at the owners office or reception on arrival or at anytime the owners office or reception is open.

Park Rules:-  

Siblu has developed a holiday park concept aimed at families who value quality leisure time. La Carabasse is a 4 star site and with this it essential that those visiting the site respect others and follow the park rules so that everyone can enjoy their holiday. I have outlined the key areas as follows:-

 

1. Entry to the site:-

Only those who have obtained authorisation from the park or the park owner are allowed access to the park.

Proof of this authorisation must be provided on demand from the park management.

By entering the park all persons on the park are deemed to agree to abide by the general rules and regulations of the park.

Any exceptions made by the company , for whatever reason and whatever duration, can not be considered as binding and can be withdrawn by the Company at any time.

2. Formalities

All persons staying on the park for a minimum of one night, are required to complete the necessary documents and show their passport or identity card to the park management.

3. Accommodation

The number of people staying in the accommodation unit must not exceed the manufacturer's recommended usage. A maximum of eight persons are allowed in our mobile home.

So our mobile home can be enjoyed by everyone we do not allow smoking inside the mobile home. Please respect others and smoke outside if you wish.

4. Park Amenities

The Opening dates and hours of the park's facilities are decided by the park management. They are displayed at the Information Bureau.

These dates and opening and closing times are subject to modification in relation to the number of holiday makers on the park and to the operation of the park.

5. Noise

No one on the park must make any noise which may disrupt the peace and quiet of others on the park. In particular the inconsiderate use of radio's, televisions, musical instruments etc. is forbidden. Car doors and boots should be closed as quietly as possible. Any form of disturbance during the night is forbidden.

6. Pets

Although the park allows animals on the park we do not allow animals to be kept in our mobile home. Please refrain from taking your pets with you. The park also has rules that forbids the following types of dog access to the park (pitt-bull, boerbull and of appearance Tosa-Inu, rottweiller, staffordshire bull terrier, American staffordshire terrier and Tosa-Inu, Japanese akita, Neapolitan mastiff, alsacians and greyhounds). The owner must remove any animal excrement that may be deposited on the park by their animal and place it in a bag and dispose of it in the rubbish bins. Pet owners must be able to provide a copy of the obligatory vaccination certificate on request. Dogs and cats must be tattooed with an identification number and this must conform with the current regulations issued by the French veterinary services. Any animal straying on the park will be taken to the refuge.

7. Upkeep and Appearance of the Park

Equipment provided by the park should be used in accordance with its operating instructions and each user of this equipment must take care not to cause any damage to it.

Household rubbish must be put in the rubbish bins provided for this purpose. Rubbish must not be disposed of by fire or in any other way. Nothing is to be put down drains which may block them. The cost of any repairs will be charged to the person contravening these provisions.

Clothes and dish washing is strictly forbidden outside the areas designated for this purpose. The washing of cars is forbidden except in the designated area.

Plants, grassed areas and flower beds must not be damaged. Cutting branches or hammering nails into trees is forbidden.

Any person causing damage to vegetation, boundary fences, facilities or equipment on the park will be charged with the full cost of repair or replacement. Any installation or dismantling costs incurred as a result of a contravention of any of the park rules, will be charged to the person responsible for the contravention.

The park management and its staff reserve the right to visit all pitches and hired accommodation at any time.

 

Pitches and accommodation must be left in good condition, by the pitch occupier. Any damage or accidents in the accommodation or on the pitch must immediately be brought to the attention of the management and the owner. Failure to do so will result in that person assuming responsibility for any further damages or accidents.

8. Vehicles on Park

The French highway code applies inside the park.

The maximum speed limit on the park is 10km/hr and particular attention is required due to the large number of children on the park.

Parking is provided for vehicles on, or in front of, each pitch. Under no circumstances are cars to be parked on the roads, in front of access or exit, or on vacant pitches.

Vehicle owners must be prepared to move their vehicles on request to enable access to any part of the park at any time.

All drivers must carry a valid driving license, in their name, at all times.

9. Safety & Security

a. Fire

Bonfires are strictly forbidden. The use of dangerous or toxic substances which could cause harm or discomfort to others is forbidden, including heating and kitchen appliances which emit smoke or fumes.

Barbecues are not allowed before June 15th

The use of free standing barbecues is permitted on wind-free days and provided that they are closed on three sides by a metal hood and conform to the relevant safety requirements. The embers must be extinguished with water after use. Ashes must be disposed of in a non combustible container.

Fire extinguishers and / or hoses are placed around the park and must not be used for any purpose than to fight a fire. Anyone committing an act of vandalism may be asked to leave the park.

In the event of a fire please immediately contact the Reception or the Information Bureau.

All tents, caravan holiday homes and touring caravans must be equipped with a 1kg dry powder fire extinguisher which must be checked annually. The fire extinguisher must be easily accessible and placed inside the unit of accommodation.

b. Theft

The management cannot accept responsibility for any personal belongings on the park, except for any items left in a safety deposit box at the Reception or the Information Bureau. Any damage caused by a third party to a person, car or property can not be the responsibility of the park management.

Please immediately report any persons acting in a suspicious manner, to the Reception or the Information Bureau. Please take the usual precautions to look after your personal possessions.

c. Miscellaneous

Fire arms and fireworks are not allowed on the park. Demonstrations and meetings (political, religious or any other nature) are forbidden on the park.

It is expressly forbidden to open electric boxes or manhole covers on the park.

Washing lines are not permitted.

Banners, notice boards or any other form of advertising are forbidden.

First Aid boxes are available at the Pool, Bar and Reception.

10. Storage

Written authorisation is required from the park management, and the relevant fee is to be paid, before any items can be left in storage on the park.

11. Games

Aggressive or disruptive games are not permitted on the park.

12. Day Visitors

Day visitors are the responsibility of their host. Advance agreement is required from the park management before any day visitors can make use of the park's facilities. All day visitors must report to reception on arrival.

13. Insurance

The mobile home is insured in accordance with the site rules. The contents of the mobile home are not insured and as such all damage or breakage must be paid for.

WELCOME TO YOUR HOLIDAY

 

We are sure you will all have a really enjoyable time and will do everything we can to ensure you have a pleasant stay. If you have any queries or problems during your stay, please don't hesitate to talk to anyone of the Siblu staff. We are particularly keen to ensure your children's safety and security during your holiday and have prepared these notes to help you.

 

 

MUMS and DADS

 

1. Please make sure your children know where they are staying and your mobile home number.

2. Please familiarise them with the park, showing them where your accommodation is in relation to the main facilities.

3. Your children are welcome to join the activities at the Tiger Club, which is open to children aged 5-9 and T-CO caters for 10-14+. The Tiger Club consists of games and activities organised by Siblumates for children. It is not a child care facility. (You must purchase a fun pass to use this facility from reception)

4. All Tiger Club activities take place on the park, however, they may be held in various locations.

5. If you wish your children to take part, please take them along at the specified time and make sure you and they know what time each session ends (see programme and noticeboards for details)

6.All parents are welcome to come along and watch. If you are not staying with your children, you must come and collect them at the end of the session or let them know where you will be at the time and make sure they know how to get there.

7. All young children (i.e. under 9) must always be collected by their parents.

8. Although you are on holiday it is of course important to know where your children are at all times and keep an eye on them, just as you would at home.

9. Do not hesitate to inform the management or staff of any suspicious events on the park, no matter how trivial. Also please notify a member of staff immediately of any incidents.

10. Siblu will take every possible care within our control for all our guests. There is no doubt however, that the best people to guarantee the safety of children are their parents.

 

 

BOYS & GIRLS

 

1. Make sure you know where your caravan is and how to find it from places like the pool, the adventure playground and the Tiger Club.

2. Don't wander off without telling your parents where you are.

3. Remember, just as you would at home, don't talk to or accept gifts from strangers.

Swimsafe:-

 

We want you to enjoy all the facilities on the park including the swimming pool, following the guidance below should mean that you can do so safely.

 

BEFORE YOU GO TO THE POOL

For their own safety children under 8 and non-swimmers under the age of 14 must be supervised by an adult throughout their visit to the pool.

Jewellery cannot be worn on flumes/waterslides so please do not take it with you. Lifeguards cannot accept responsibility for looking after it.

A session system may operate during busy periods. Please check at pool or main reception for details of the opening times of the pool and whether such restrictions apply.

Swimming shorts are allowed to be worn in pools however, T-shirts are not allowed in the water.

Do not leave high value trainers or shoes at the pool entrance; take a plastic bag with you to put them in and keep the shoes with you in the pool area. We cannot take responsibility for footwear left unattended at the pool.

BEFORE GETTING INTO THE POOL

To help maintain high standards of water quality and ensure that the pool can remain open, please encourage children to use the toilet before swimming.

Please check the depth markings; if you do not understand them please ask one of the lifeguards.

FLUMES/WATERSLIDES

If you are suffering from a heart condition, back injury, have taken drugs or alcohol or are pregnant, please do not use the flume/waterslide.

When using a flume/waterslide, descend one at a time, feet first and move out of the reception pool immediately.

Children under 1 metre in height are not permitted to use the flume.

 

AT THE POOL

Please do not run around the poolside - it is wet and may be slippery.

If your children use swimming aids such as armbands or rubber rings, we would ask that they need constant supervision. Large inflatables are not allowed.

A strict no diving policy operates in Siblu pools.

In order to ensure that other guests can enjoy and use the pool safely, please do not fight, scream, "bomb", duck, dive, run or play ball games.

All our staff are fully qualified at least to the equivalent of Royal Life Saving Society standards for lifeguards.

Please feel free to ask for help or advice. Any instructions that they issue are for your safety and must be obeyed.

BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, HAVE A FUN TIME!
